Windows 10 finally ready for release

Last week Microsoft released what would have been called Service Pack 1 for Windows 10. Up until that point ,many consider that Windows 10 was not ready for release. Fortunately, many problems have now been cured with Windows 10 and there is now no reason not to upgrade from Win8 or Win7.

You don't need to do anything if you are already running Windows 10 as this update will happen automatically whether you want it or not.

SKYPE - Change your password now!

July 20, 2015 A significant number of Skype users have been receiving spoof emails that ask you to click on a link that takes you to a suspect web site. If you are a Skype user and you receive an email from another Skype user then be very careful. Only open the email if you know the contact and consider it normal to receive Skype emails from them. This does not affect normal email messages that are not connected to Skype.

As of today, Microsoft have not issued an update to fix this security problem. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that if you use Skype on a PC with Microsoft Windows, that you should change your password as a matter of urgency.
